A glittering career sometimes hides many a sad story beneath. Lolo Jones, who took home the USA and the World championships in hurdle events in 2013, only been able to achieve this level through a great deal of hard work and a lot of patience. A single mother within a household of five kids, Jones had a difficult and difficult growing up. The mother of Jones moved around constantly and stayed for a while in the basement of the church. Jones, who lived an erratic and mobile lifestyle from the moment she started high school, had to move to a new school each year. Jones was able to move away from her mother to Theodore Roosevelt so that her to pursue her interest in track. She lived with different families during high school to be focused on her studies. Jones as a cellist in the school's orchestra and recipient of Gatorade the track and field athlete of the year award won her an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete award at the close of high school. Jones was one of the most skilled hurdlers in her first year of college. She won the 100-meter obstacle during the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Jones was also a member of the second team to win the 100-meter Relay event. In 2003 and in 2004, Jones took home the indoor hurdles competition during the NCAA Championship. Jones' career began when she graduated in 2005. her bachelor's degree. She began to train for a career in track. Jones took home the Torino Memorial in 2005, in addition to Ostrava and Heusden track events in the next year.

Brandt is a child of the Cape Town region. She grew up in Cape Town South Africa with her parents and siblings relocated to Auckland New Zealand when she was in her teens. Discovered by local casting directors Brandt assumed the character as Naevia on the Starz hits Spartacus: Blood and Sand as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. In collaboration with the producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences with her performance and became one of the show's biggest starlets. She was on the show's hit Netflix show Lucifer that had a six year run. She played the favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes has ranked Lucifer as the top binge-watched show for 2021. Brandt will be next in a six-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira and will be aired in 2024. She will also be starring alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated show Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa. She is a talented New Zealander performer. Lesley Brandt along with the other members of her family moved into Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. In Auckland Brandt started as a Retailer, then got upgraded to IT Management Consultant. Following a couple of modeling projects, Lesley appeared in many commercials. In 2008, she completed her college and began studying Meisner method of study. Her first acting job was with the New Zealand TV show Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street as a supporting actor. She then appeared in the science-fiction film This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She later portrayed the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
