Yael Yael, an Australian living in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Yael had the privilege from a very young age to work with the best storytellers and performers in Australia, as well as pioneers in the film, TV and theatre industry. Yael's career is rich and thriving in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's journey to New York City began when the production received a prestigious review at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. The Cannery is a Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new imaginative writing and promote innovative concepts.
