Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones, better popularly known as Suranne Jones, is an actress and producer of England. Suranne Jones is an actor and producer from the UK. Suranne Jones became famous for her performance as Ruth Slater, the detective in a police procedural "Scott & Bailey and as well as Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical drama 'Doctor Foster.' Originating from Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones was a member of The Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from the workshop. Her first stage performance began as a child at eight years old, portraying Gloria in a production of 'Wait Until Dark'. The first time she appeared on screen was in 1997 in an episode of 'Coronation Street'. In 2000 she played Karen McDonald in the series. In the years following her departure from ITV's soap, she appeared in a number of characters on television programs including 'Vincent" and 'Strictly Confessional", and Harley Street. In films like "Broken Hearts," A Christmas Star', A Christmas Star, as well as the film Love and a Long Shot she played a variety of characters.
